Our Approach to Cancer Treatment

At the Belize Cancer Center we always take into account that every patient who enters our doors is being affected in his/her own unique way. Each comprehensive care plan is designed by the medical oncologist to meet the patients personalize treatment needs.

Our care team is experienced, compassionate and acknowledge cultural and linguistic challenges facing patients and families. Each consultation is provided in privacy to relieve anxiety. Questions are encouraged and answered in a manner easily understood. Each procedure is explained clearly and any change in the treatment plan is initiated only after consulting with, and approved by the patient and family.

Inclusion and transparency are critical in preserving integrity and trust in the relationship between patient, families and our care team.
